The ambitious project was launched on 4 July 2018 to secure delivery of substantial soaking rainfall into Victoria and New South Wales. The project has currently achieved a noted success in Victoria and the operations team anticipate that substantial rains will reach NSW during the weekend commencing Friday 24 August 2018.

The 3D visualisation (above) shows the improved rainfall outcomes, during a sample week (from the 2-month project) by comparing Predicted vs Recorded Rainfall for the same timeframe. Details regarding how Weather Moderation has been able to achieve this are included in the Technical Presentation "Overcoming Australia's Drought" which may be downloaded below.
